LONG weekend!

I'm about beat! Friday we went to Ari's first birthday party. I'm really upset that Morgan's friends who said they would be there, weren't. They didn't even call! I know I'm bad about making plans and sometimes things come up and I can't make them, but I at least call. Poor Morgan and Matt were looking out the window the whole time waiting for them to show up. But, besides that, we had a blast. Ella loved playing with Ari's toys. She entertained Morgan & Matt's parents as Ari took a short nap. She knows when to show off. I wonder where she gets that from? Ari didn't like his cake, but Ella was willing to help him out. She loved it, of course. I can't wait to see her dive into her cake. Yesterday we started painting my room. We ran out of paint, so we went to get some today. The big news is that Ella slept in her crib for the first time (since she was 4 mo) for 6 hours!! Wickett woke her up at 11, but she fell back asleep. Then she woke up again at 3 and I brought her to my bed. She fell back asleep for about an hour and woke up and refused to go back to sleep. I tried everything! I then put her back in her crib, let her cry, then got her again. 2 hours later she fell back asleep for what seemed like 30 minutes. I got so mad I went and put her in her crib, shut the door and got back into bed. I was exhausted and pissed at this point. I glanced over at my alarm and saw that it was 9 and felt guilty. So I picked her up and took her to my mom and went back to sleep. I got up around 11 and mom put her wall mural up. We then went to Lowes and got paint for my room, bathroom, E's bathroom and bedroom. The goal is to have the bathrooms and my room done tomorrow. E's room is going to take a couple of weeks for what we are doing. I'll post pictures tomorrow. I'm going to go help mom with E's room before she goes to bed. Hope everyone had a great weekend!
