Paloma Pottery is recycled glass infused pottery which is handmade by the very talented Nicole Whitney. Nicole creates the pottery herself, then allows the clay to air dry before going into the kiln for bisque firing. Once fired, the pottery is then ready to be glazed and the broken recycled glass particles are added. The kiln melts the glass and fuses it to the clay and glaze to make the astounding finished product. The recycled glass is collected from glass jars, wine bottles, beer bottles, and other glass found on the side of the road, trails, or any other place people leave trash. The glass is then busted into small particles to be infused to these works of art.
